FESTIVAL - REVIEW OF THE DIALECTAL BRESCIAN SONG

A festival-review of dialectal Brescian song proposes itself like a quite new proposal.
It wants to be to all an understandable but those who want to enjoy and enjoy the typical Brescianity. The intention is to recover the popular roots, traditions and ancient customs and those of our area and make it usable in an evening devoted to young people and to elderly people. The event relies on the participation of some singers and bands in the famous circuit of the dialectal Brescian song: Braghini Francesco, Giovanni Pintossi, Sergio Minelli, "I Malghesetti independenti" and "I Valtrumplini" and other songwriters who have made some the history of dialectal Brescian song. Keeping alive the tradition dialect means to food culture of a land and its language. The Brescian dialect is disappearing, unfortunately, because the low use among younger generations, or for the influence of foreign words that tend to influence our language. The initiative must be seized for his cultural intention , educational and in memory of tradition.
